Adopt a pet!

You can find photos of animals that need new homes in the gallery above. Unfortunately we do not have shelter of our own, therefore these animals are located in different locations (in foster care or with their owners, who are forced to give up their pet in to a new home because of exceptional circumstances).

Instructions for adopters:

Be prepared for the adoption - discuss it with all family members and do not rush into decisions. Even if you  had a pet dog or cat in the past, consider reading a book or browsing the Internet for  loads of new, useful and up-to-date information. If you decide to adopt a dog, we recomend enrolling into dog school, which is primarily aimed for you, to make you more easily engage with new member of your family and to help you with introducing your dog into your daily routine. Regardless of whether you decide to adopt a dog or a cat,  inquire which veterinary clinics are avaliable near you.

Getting ready for a new pet - what to prepare?

- bowls for water and food

- place where your pet will sleep and rest (blanket, dog or cat basket, cottage or kennel...)

- litter tray/s (for cat/s)

- collar, dog harness, leash, muzzle (even if the dog is not aggressive)

- toys and tending accessories  (shampoo, brushes, ...)

- treats

- Flea & Tick control

- find out beforehand which type or brand of food your new pet is accustomed to
